Hello fellow Linux users,
I am Patrick, I am not new to open source software but fairly new to Linux. I tried Slackware Linux back in 1996 couldn't get it to install and therefore rode the FreeBSD train for awhile, then later to NetBSD. Quick using computers at all period for some unfortunate reason I rather not mention. Anyway bought a laptop 3 weeks ago and it came pre-installed with Windows 10. Boy was I lost haven't use Windows since the release of Windows95. However, I couldn't stand it and it drive me nuts. Didn't have time to tinker with a OS. I just wanted something that ran out of the box and went with Linux Mint of course I bought a wifi dongle thanks to the Members here giving me a heads up.

Today I am just a happy have gotten rid of Windows10 ;-)

Most of the folks are happy to get rid of Windows 10. So, you should feel right at home.
