Hello from the plains of Illinois

I have recently installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux to get full 64 bit support with our Xilinx FPGA design tools which have an incomplete 64 bit windows implementation.

I had used UNIX systems for many years before the tools transitioned to cheaper Windows PCs when they became powerful enough.

It has been great recovering my UNIX skills with this Linux installation.
