Hello,

seems that I'm going to stick around here for a while. A couple of months ago I got some MySQL servers thrown at me at work, so now I'm the MySQL DBA all suddenly.

Mostly worked with MSSQL and very basic MySQL so I'm kinda new to alot of what goes on behind MySQL, configurations, performance and such. So you might get lots of noobish questions from my.

I know a little bit about MySQL, having run a blog with a MySQL database for five years, but not enough to be considered a DBA by any stretch. I can maintain, but I can't create. I do know enough to offer you my sympathies (grin).
