Hi Everyone, I have been a slackware user for a number of years as a hobbiest. I have stuck with slackware because the other distros just confuse me. I have had an ongoing problem with getting my laptop to work on wifi. It has a Intel Pro 2200bg adapter. On boot the laptop finds the adapter but no matter how I try to configure it, I can not change the default parameters set on the boot up.
I am more of a browser than a poster but hopefully I will find some answers here.

Hi and welcome to LQ.

Some of the msmbers may skip over this intro forum .You should make a different thread in say newbie forum or networking with a title of wifi will not connect. This will give you more exposure for your problem.
