Hi, LinuxQuestions.org members.
I have been involved in computers and programming for 55 years, using autocoder, Fortran (many versions), Cobol (many versions), Pascal, C, C++, VB, VBA among others. I have been a little rusty over the last 20 years, but have been supporting a large c-based online system since the Author died a couple of years ago, just after I had sterted to help him. His programming ideas were excellent but his documentantion was mostly in his head which made it difficult when I took over. After a long, learning struggle I am now confident in making changes to most of the system, but it is HUGE!
