I live in Montélimar, France and I began computing by recuperating my parent's computers who were under Windows XP and under a Windows Vista full of viruses. Given their ages (2002 for the oldest who is also my birth date !) it was impossible to update to another Windows version. But a friend advises me to install Linux, a free and great working on old computer OS and I never regret that choice.
I started with Ubuntu 14.04 as a complete newbie and I learn on the job on various forums and wikis. I later update for Debian 8 and now I am writing these lines on a 2007 Asus computer running Debian 9 Xfce and my parents call me to fix there issues !
I learned programming in the same time I learned Linux and now I program in Python, Perl, Pascal, Bash and a little in C and C++.
By the way I'm sorry if they are mistakes in my text, I'm gonna enter in the equivalent of High School in the USA.
