Lightbulb Hello from Bulgaria :) - Linux + Science ...

Hello to everybody.

I'm new to Linux, but not very ... (few views with LiveCDs/DVDs, 4 installs of Ubuntu, Kbuntu and Debian, but nothing constant).

My plans is to use Linux (maybe Debian) for FUN (a little joke ) - for fun yes, with Blender and work, with Blender again, but not only.
I'm an electrical engineer and working with electrical motors and Solar systems (for heating and electricity). I think the "Open Source" will be very helpful in this areas - planing to make (when prepared to) eng. calculations, some simulations where is possible, and final works maybe with Blender-Gimp-OpenOffice for presentations - hope so . But everything one at a time.

Aaand this is from me for now, hope I'll find some really interesting fields in Linux for discussion here .

Best regards to all:

Soulripper
