Hello from a new user and a new member.

Have a relatively new machine with a dead hard drive. I expect I will install a new one and load it with ubuntu to start with. If that works well, I will put ubuntu into my overworked netbook -- the one with a 16g hard drive that is full of something that won't go away.

Thanks to all who put in their time to make lq work.
