Greetings and Felicitation


As requested this is an introductory post.

I am a software engineer. Started with the V7 unix distributions. Coded TCP/IP/Ethernet from the DARPA specificaiton. Ported a uniprocessor unix to an SMP platform. Have written many Linux drivers (e.g. charcater and sysfs) and tuned applicaitons be behave well within Linux (e.g. ~10 uS real-time response). Recently coded a FUSE filesystem, intended to be a near real-time data replicator.

Like performance realted work.

Like to debate what is and is not necessary...
