Cool Greetings All

Just a quick hello from the frozen northlands. Posted a question down in wireless networking, so this is just a hello. Thanks to everyone in advance, as I'm sure I'll be here asking lots of questions.

I work mostly oracle databases at work and I'm seeing that more and more installs are moving to linux so I decided that job security demanded that I learn more. I took the plunge and converted my laptop from win xp to linux fedora core 3. I work with unix ( Sun 8) a fair amount at work so I'm not totally unfamiliar with the Unix environment, but this is my first plunge into the Linux world.

Anyway Merry Christmas and happy Hannukah etc.
