zyxel card on fc6 not working

I've got a fc6 box with a zxyel g-302 wireless card. I'm trying to get wifi working on the box. Here's what I've done so far:

lspci sees the wireless card in the slot

I grabbed the rtl8185 driver online

compiled and installed ndiswrapper

installed said driver using ndiswrapper (ndiswrapper -l shows the driver)

I can't seem to figure out what the wireless interface is.

I checked /etc/sysconfig/wpa_supplicant, and it shows my wireless interface is wlan0

ifup wlan0 isn't working
ifup iwlan0 isn't it

Am I missing something?

update:

I tried ndiswrapper -m to add an alias, and I got an error message about not being able to add the module alias.

Code:

adding "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper" to /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper ...
couldn't add module alias: at /usr/sbin/ndiswrapper line 720.

One more thing:

The pciid on the wiki page for this card doesn't match my output.
