Yipee!!...almost

So, using Slackware 10.2 and ndiswrapper version 1.1, I have managed to get my dumb MN 510 to see my network.

The only thing is...I cannot get it to put the essid in the iwconfig, nor can I get my encryption key in

I was able to once...I dunno why I can't now, but when I got it FULLY connected to my network, I opened KWIFI and checked the signal.

Signal was good.

Noise was non existent. WHA??

So, I still couldn't connect to the internet.

Hmm

Try entering the wireless parameters into /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts if it's a PCMCIA card or /etc/rc.d/rc.wireless.conf for a cardbus card.

Ugh. Try /etc/rc.d/rc.wireless.conf but I'll admit to having little experience or patience with USB devices for networking.

Maybe someone who's spent some time with the 510 can help.
