WPA/TKIP with Knoppix 3.8?

I have a netgear usb wg111 wlan adapter, configured as wlan0 using ndiswrapper, this works so far. However, I cannot configure it successfully with iwconfig. Especially, I am still searching where to set the encryption mode, I am using an accesspoint using WPA and TKIP. How can that be configured in Knoppix?

Thank you,
