Wireless Problems

I am running Fedora Core 6 on a Dell Inspiron 2200. I am new at Linux and therefore am having some problems. I am trying to get my wireless NIC working. I have installed NDISWRAPPER and have everything configured. The network GUI sees the NIC and I have configured it to work with my wireless network. I cannot, however, see any of the information that I programmed with iwlist. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I need to do?

What NIC do you have?

I have to admit I'm a bit confused by your post, please tell me:

#1. How you configured the card.
#2. If the setup is working

I'm not sure what the exact problem is. Where/how did you "program" the information that iwlist is not displaying?

Wireless Problems

I have a Broadcom 1470 Wireless NIC. I used the Network Manager to configure the IP address, wireless channel, and WEP Key. As far as I can see, the setup is not working.

Can anyone tell me how I should have installed the driver?

I used MDISWRAPPER to install the Driver. When I look at the Network Manager, the computer recognizes the Wireless NIC.
