Wireless config on Fedora 9 and HPnx6125 latop

I cannot get the wirless nic to activate.

I am getting this error

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.

Determining IP information for wlan0...SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory
failed.

Hello spayce.

Do you know what chipset your wireless card uses? Mine, for instance, is a Linksys WMP54G card, with an RaLink 2561/RT61 chipset.

Mine is Intel Pro Wireless 3945 (supports a/b/g). The driver is properly configured and I manually entered all the settings for my network, but I get the same message.

alright, so your using an Intel, which is supported by Linux...what distro are you using, and are you using NetworkManager to try to connect?
