Wireless Card Suggestions for Wardriving

Hey all, I'm wondering what wireless cards are good for wardriving in a linux environment. Currently I'm using a Dell Truemobile 1150, but it doesn't want to enter monitor mode correctly. Also, what other good wardriving programs are out there besides airsnort?

I have a Dell TrueMobile 1150 and don't have any problems with the current versions of airsnort or kismet. What distribution and driver are you using?

I'm using SuSE 9.2 and whatever it defaults to. I'm able to view the network, but I can never scan for them.

I'm using a first generation Linksys PCMCIA card WPC11 and it can go into monitor mode and sniff packets. I've heard that Orinoco has the best cards but I'm not sure which ones are good for sniffing. Which ones work well with Kismet?

thanks
