Wifi problems in FC5 with D-Link DWL-G650

OK so I installed madwifi and everything seemed to be in order. I connect to my wireless network with no trouble but for some reason unknown to me, I can't connect to the internet. My other PC, also running FC5 is connected to my router via LAN and it works fine. This laptop also connects fine via LAN. When I run iwconfig this is what I get.

[root@localhost mranth0s]# /sbin/iwconfig ath0
ath0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"lbsnet"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.437 GHz Access Point: xxxxxxxxxx
Bit Rate:54 Mb/s Tx-Power:20 dBm Sensitivity=0/3
Retryff RTS thrff Fragment thrff
Encryption keyff
Power Managementff
Link Quality=52/94 Signal level=-43 dBm Noise level=-95 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:3778 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

It'd be great if somebody could shed some light on the subject. If you need additional info please let me know.

Thanks in advance,
Anth0s

Are you able to ping the router or the other PC on the network? If you're using DHCP, is the wireless adapter getting an IP address from the router?

[root@localhost mranth0s]# ping 192.168.0.1
connect: Network is unreachable
[root@localhost mranth0s]# ping 192.168.0.103
connect: Network is unreachable
[root@localhost mranth0s]#

And yes I am using DHCP but you'll have to forgive me for asking how do I find out if my adapter is getting an IP?

No problem at all, ip addr will show you all your network devices and any IP addresses associated with them. Since you can't ping your router, my guess is that your wireless device isn't getting one. Are you using WEP or WPA on your router? It looks like you're card is configured with encryption set to "off."
