I have noticed recently that the wireless connection signal from the wireless router di 624 had been fluctuating from 96% gradually to 0% and then gradually back up to 94%. However, there were a number of occasions where the wireless connection were lost and it took its time to reconnect itself. I don't understand why it happens because all the equipment were in the room ie same position .
Can you remind me what command to find the log file for di 624?
When I used the same setting in windows xp to go online wirelessly but the ip address has changed to beginning with 168.xxx.xxx.xxx and not able to go online.
Do you know what went wrong with the wireless router?
I am currently having the SSID Broadcast enabled. Would you recommend to disable the SSID Broadcast?
That is good, because I thought may be someone use it.

To see you need to log into di 624, through WEB interface, use manual to find LOG there.

I have no idea what windows does with it, but IP should changes only in last 3 digits:
192.168.0.XXX

Sometime it could happens when too many connection goes through router. For example 200-300. Torrent easily can do this.
Another possibility - ADSL modem sometimes disconnecting from ISP, it causes reconnection, during that period all packets stop on di 624, that can make it overloaded and may be wireless signal goes down as well.

In my last few restart boot up today, I waited until the wireless connection connected itself then I press the browser button to go online. I have noticed the screen suddenly turned black and I have to use my user password to unlock the screen. It had happened a few moments ago as well. I don't remember it black out so many times before but it is doing it a few times today.

Do you think I have disabled dhcp have something to do with it?
