Ok, I will try to explain.
Open WICD main window, where you can find your A2 wireless network.
Press small triangle before A2, you should see additional settings.
Press "Advanced settings", and in new window uncheck "Use Encripton"
Open WICD main window, where you can find your A2 wireless network.
On top of it you can find "Preferences", click on it, then in "General Settings" find and check "Enable debug mode"
Then, please exactly how I say:
Unplug ethernet cable, wait 1 minute, plug it again, wait 1 minute.
Then unplug ethernet cable, and try to connect to wireless, by pressing the CONNECT button near A2 in the WICD main window, check if you are connected, if YES press disconnect button, if NO just plug ethernet cable.
So I suggest to very carefully check "Advanced settings" in WICD, and in new window UNCHECK "Use Encripton", delete any keys.
Look at the second picture on http://wicd.sourceforge.net/screenshot.php.
There is another way.
You can set up secure connection on your wireless router and do exactly the same settings in WICD "Advanced settings". They should be identical.
In this case you have to check the box "Use Encripton"
I had an accident where the power of the cable modem was off. When the power back on, the ip address was changed and seemed to have reset ip address in the wireless router as well.
