WG511 is a good card with a Linux driver from Prism54

If you want a card that has a Linux driver and works, try this one: NETGEAR WG511. The driver is Prism54. Its latest source works for my Fedora Core 2 which is 2.6.5-1.358

I already tried various comination of several distro and 3 different cards (Belkin F5D6020, Netgear MA521 and Microsof MN-520) with no success. From the Realtek 8180L driver source to the ndiswrapper plus Windows driver, none worked for me.
