I hope you can help me with this NDISWRAPPER issue. Having deinstalled the LINUXANT network driver for my Belkin Wireless Network Card to try NDISWRAPPER (didn't want to pay for LINUXANT) I am now having a problem where the driver wont load on boot up but loads fine after boot up using "iwconfig wlan0".
Any help you can supply in getting this working on boot would be very much appreciated. As much information as I can think of supplying follows.
Start mode is set to BOOT in iwcfg-wlan0 and all other setting appear to be correct. If I watch the boot messages I see the text:
lo 127.0.0.1
Waiting for mandatory device wlan0
wlan0 interface could not be setup
Entries in the system log read:
Jul 3 17:17:24 Upstairs nmbd[2297]: [2004/07/03 17:17:24, 0] lib/interface.c:load_interfaces(220)
Jul 3 17:17:24 Upstairs nmbd[2297]: WARNING: no network interfaces found
This message is repeated every 5 seconds.
On issuing "iwconfig wlan0" the following messages are recorded in the system log:

though not that astute in everything linux. it is great to help any way possible.!
