start wireless


How do I manually start wlan0?

I know this one

/etc/init.d/network restart

but I am getting that the wlan0 needs to be started manually

Ok I have been messing around still looking. When I type: ifup wlan0
I get this:

wlan0
wlan0 warning: using NO encryption
ERROR: Error while excuting:
Command 'ip route replace to 169.254.0.0/16 dev wlan0' returned:
RTNETLINKkkkkkk answers: No such device
Configuration line: 169.254.0.0 - 255.255.0.0 wlan0
