squid error ....... plz help..urgently required

hi....dear friends when i try to run the following command for the squid i got the error plz help me..

# /opt/squid/sbin/squid -z

try not to use terms like "urgent" in your thread titles... most of the time they will have the opposite effect of what you want...

anyways, your probelm is PERMISSIONS... make sure that your cache directory has the proper permissions... the cache directory needs to be owned by the user and group which squid is running as... i believe by default it's user nobody and group nobody...
