Afternon all,
This is a thread that I have persued previously but from a different angle. I hope that this different approach may help me find a solution to my problem.
I connect to the internet through a LAN at my place of work and have a number of E-mail addresses belonging to the same domain that I own.
Unluckily the LAN IP address (and the surrounding ones) is on the SPEWS list as being a source of spam. As my LAN is a university campus this is possible but unlikely.
Any mail I send via my mail client (thunderbird) is rejected with the following message:
An error occured whilst sending mail. The mail server responded: RBL rejection: the local postmaster has forbidden access -> http://admin.bl.kundenserver.de/
Having fruitlessly thrashed it out with the chaps at kundenserver I am looking for another solution to this problem.
Due to my geographical location I often have to use a proxy server to access secure sites, banking etc.... and was wondering if this can be used to remail my messages.
If this is not possible can anyone point me in the right direction and I will look into this over the coming week
Regards
The monkey
