Radius server for wireless lan?
I am wondering if anybody has heard of/knows how to set up a radius-style server for a wireless LAN. This cannot be too difficult to do, because those wireless hotspots at coffee shops that charge for access must have a similar setup running. I want to do this in my house to foil my neighbors attempts to break my wireless LAN, and because I think it would be an interesting way to attack this (minor) security problem. The way I was thinking about setting it up would be to run the wireless router into a radius server, and have the radius server control outbound traffic over my cable connection. I am relatively inexperienced with all of this, so any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. What I want is a web-page style login screen, preferably with the ability to read cookies...so my roommate only has to authenticate once and isnt annoyed with logon screens.....Any ideas on this would be awesome.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan
