Puppy Linux 3.01 Wireless Configuration

I am currently using PuppyLinux 3.01 as a LiveCD.

When it comes to setting up the wireless connection eth1 is always found but using autoDHCP is sometimes sucessful (in which case I can access the internet) and sometimes not successful.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks in advance.

output of I believe iwconfig and possibly ifconfig? It may be attaching itself to another network in your area.

Is this what you were asking for?

Before getting success with autoDHCP, Ifconfig & Iwconfig Produced:

There are a couple of unsecured networks nearby but they are rarely detected when I scan for networks.

when It doesn't work make sure you can ping your router (probably 192.168.1.1) and make sure under eth1 you have an address:
Quote:
inet addr:192.168.1.64 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
also make sure your connected to "BTHomeHub-AECF" if this is the correct network when it fails:
Quote:
eth1 IEEE 802.11b/g ESSID:"BTHomeHub-AECF" Nickname:"Broadcom 4318"
If iwconfig comes up with all no wireless extensions, this usually mean the module isn't loaded for your wireless. This could be because of a hardware switch or configuration error somewhere.
