not able to use wireless network but can connect on wire

Hi all
I installed Debian a few days ago and I am able to use network when I directly connect using network cable but my wireless connection is not working. How do I know whether the driver for the wireless NIC is installed correctly? And how do I know which is my wireless NIC? I have two in the system - Etheros and Realtek

Below is the output of the ifconfig and iwconfig commands -

DB:/etc# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth1 no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

sit0 no wireless extensions.

In addition to above ..

After googling it looks like that etheros is the wireless NIC (network interface card) but I just want to know how to find this out? is there a command? And is there a way to find out whether the driver for wireless NIC is installed or not?
