Time to visit; http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/

From; http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m...index.php/List

# Card: Netgear WPN111 108Mbps RangeMAX USB (with super G/MIMO)

* Chipset: Atheros USB
* pciid: 1358:5f01

* Driver: Windows XP driver available on the Netgear CD: netwpn11.inf + wpn111.sys + ar5523.bin

* Other:Works with latest cvs 1.6(29/11/05) you must run 'load_fw_ar5523 /etc/ndiswrapper/netwpn11/ar5523.bin' before running modprobe

* Other: With ndiswrapper 1.7, load_fw_ar552 is not needed; instead, install both wpn11 and athfmwdl drivers and ndiswrapper will load ar5523 firmware when necessary.

Hi Lenard,

thanks, thanks., thanks a milion Lenard,

the link that you gave me has a very useful resources. I just following the instruction as it said on the white papper, and it works for me. eventhough i dont know the shell commands what it meant when I put the key stroke onto keyboard, but some how i can now access to the internet with my wireless Netgear RangeMax WPN111 adapter. I think Linux is fun to learns, especially the linux bash shell commands which i have to get the commands from the keyboard to the computer. this is what i think about installing as a newbie to linux.
Linux is just as easily installed and supports just as a wide range of hardware as Microsoft windows does. the best things to do before attempting to install linux is to get the manuals that came with my pc and dust them off (which i did not). For example, if i were going to mountain climbing, I would specific need clothes to protect me from scrapes, the cold, wind, rain and other adverse climatic conditions. if i were going to a formal dinner, i would need a tuxedo. if i were going about daily routine, I would wear a "normal" clothes. in short comments, i should have gather all information about my computer what i have inside the system. this will lead me to the point where it can be installed just like any other operating system. on the other hand, it is a "freebie" operating system which cost me nothing, but with time consuming times to learn how to do the researchs.......

thanks,
khmerisp
