So with the driver installed, what does
Code:
ndiswrapper -l
show? This should show the driver installed and whether your wireless card has been correctly detected. If not, you'll need to look at getting another driver and trying that. You can remove the existing driver with "ndiswrapper -e". Assuming ndiswrapper reports the card being present, what does
Code:
iwconfig
show? This should display your card allow yuo configure the essid, wep key, etc.

after i do ndiswrapper -l i get what should be seen
but after i do iwconfig i get

Warning: driver such and such.inf is a version 18 driver but it has been compiled with version 17

some features on your card will not work...

i have tried unstalling and reinstalling with the latest version i can find and reguardless i get that message

and also i have noticed that the light on my card is not on so i follwed the instructions by removing and reinserting the card and this did not work
