looking for a driver that doesnt freeze the system

Hello all. I'm proud to announce that I'm finaly online with Knoppix 3.8.1 and ndiswrapper! Although it seems that when one problem is fixxed, another arises. As we all know, ndiswrapper is a great tool. I love it. But since it loads Windows drivers, it can get flaky. I am able to surf the internet for about an hour and 30 minutes before Knoppix crashes and the system locks up. I have no chioce but to reset the computer. I read in the ndiswrapper disclaimer that Windows drivers can cause the system to lock up. The ndiswrapper also says to use drivers that were on the website, but I havent found any for my model. I'm using the ones on my CD that came with the card- the WinXP ones. My wlan card is a Belkin F5D6001 ver 2 11mbps wireless card. I'm currently typing this message on Knoppix. Does anyone know of good drivers for this card that doesnt cause the system to freeze? Thanks in advance!

Hi.

Apparently there's a native Linux driver for your card:
http://www.leenooks.com/111

There's a page listed at the bottom of that page which has various versions of the driver.

Dave

In case that page goes missing, the page with the drivers is here:
