I have a eMachines M6805 laptop and I've tried almost everything in the book to get it to work with no luck. I've decided to just go out and buy a new wireless card that will be compatible with linux. Can anyone recommend a good wireless card. I would prefer a dual band a/b/g card since at home I have a 802.11a network and at work we use a 802.11g network. Thanks in advance.
Would someone be willing to give me some hints on how to get my D-Link DWL-AG660 wireless 32-bit PC Card working with linux? I guess I just don't know what driver to use. Is it stock with the main kernel source tree or do I need patches? I'm running a custom 2.6.8.1 linux kernel on a Manrake 10 AMD64 edition HP zv5000z laptop. Thanks for any help!
