Linksys WPC54G under Redhat 9.0

Hi

I am trying to run my wireless lan card (linksys WPC54G) under redhat 9.

i installed ndiswrapper and i can config the card with iwconfig.
its also possible to scan with iwlist (iwlist wlan0 scanning) where i can see 3 cells.

but how can i get an ip on this card? dhclient wlan0 can't get an ip.

ifup wlan0 gives:
/sbin/ifup: configuration for wlan0 not found.
Usage: ifup <device name>

do you know how i can get an ip or how and where i have to configure the card that ifup can find it? how can i use this network device instead of the normal eth0?

thanks for any tips.
