iwl4965 weak network connections

Hello,

I have an Intel 4965AGN mini-pci express card in my laptop. I was wondering if there is a way to modify the wireless stack to connect to lower power networks. Networks that are far away that even vista can see and connect to, i cant see in linux. I use openSUSE 11 in conjunction with knetworkmanager.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

_Dan

First of all I would suggest you using a Live Cd distro like Wifislax 3.1 since this driver distribution has a very good management of this card except injection task. For that you need to patch your actual driver.

Greetings
