Iwconfig params in network-manager

I am using network-manager to connect to my wireless network. But I need to set the power management to off for my wireless card in order to work, how do I make this setting permanent? I don't see anything in network-manager applet.

Power management can be handled from 'System Settings' or something similar. You may need to write a script

That is ... if you install kde. There should be something similar in the menu for Gnome
