Post Installation problems using RH 9 with wireless Linksys card

Hello everyone, I have recently installed RH9 on a desktop machine with 356MB. I have a wireless card in the machine and for some reason when I attempt to "Activate" the card it failes stating that the card could not be initialized. any thoughts or ideas on how I could get that card initialized and or if i need drivers?

Any help would be much appreciated.

What linksys card is it?

It maybe that you need ndiswrapper to get it going.

Take a look at to see if this helps.

The Card that I have is a Linksys Wireless B WMP11 V4. The interesting thing about all of this is that the Linux network configuration see it as a 3com card. Go figure. so what I was wondering is if this is a default pick and if I need to run a command line action to get the right driver for this card.
