I have an elonex one here and cant get it to connect wireless , if i plug in my yellow cable from my router it works fine. The wireless connection icon on the screen asks for a wap key , this key is on the underside of my router , i have typed it in a million and one times and it seems to make no difference, keeps saying im connected but have an invalid ip address . please help

the wap key is for your wireless router it has the encription set by you that is a pass phrase that you set or some one set to connect to your wifi router. This has nothing to do with your internet connection. and the wrouter number you are reading is for other things.
the best question is how to configure my wifi card and router to connect.
things to know Linux Distro
wifi card chip
wifi router name and model.
The best thing to do is connect directly to your router with a hard line then go in and configure the router encryption pass phrase wep wap or what ever that is what you need to do.
