Does any one know what network adapter would just work with linux. My girlfriend uses an old gateway laptop and they just buy a G router in her house. We buy a netgear wg511 card made in china and had no success. The problem is that I am not longer in her house becuase I live in Ecuador and she in USA. So I would like to buy her a wireless pcmcia adapter for her laptop.

At the moment she has mandrake 10 installed on the laptop. I have Mandrake 10 at my house in ecuador too and with some old B adapters. I now there are a lot of you that may have just buy a network adapter that just worked, can you please help me.
