Hi guys, heres the problem I'm facing.

We have one wireless router now in our flat that is connected with wire to the cable broadband we have, but the signal strength we get out of this wireless router doesn't reach every room of the flat.My question is is it possibe to get another wireless router and set the first wireless router wroking as an access point and all the computers will connect to the network via the second wireless router which is connected wirelessly to the first wireless router(which is now acting as an access point)?

Is this possibe? Or would you mind making any other suggestions?Bear in mind that we dont want repeaters nor more cables!!!

Yes and no. It depends on the router you bought. I believe this is called "Mesh" or "WDS" (wireless distribution system) networking. Most home routers do not allow this feature.

But there are a few that allow you to install third party open source firmware (I use the Linksys WRT54G with Sveasoft Alchemy Firmware). The third party firmware has many of these features, as well as the option to boost your transmitter signal from ~25mW to ~250mW. I didn't even need a mesh network after upping the transmitter power...
