Hey all! I'm completely new to linux, but am a Windows Guru (Probably makes things worse!) and I have installed Mandriva ONE on my Gateway 8550GB Laptop. Things are good except, I can't get my wireless adapter working... Downloaded from intel the driver, but what the smeg am i suppose to do now???!!! Really, I need walking through this like a baby! I don't want to mess it up. So, I'm just sitting here with the drivers and intructions that only those who 'speak the language' can understand.
Apparently, Mandriva have a driver package that would help, but this cost money (in true MS Fashion! - Oh Well...)
That aside, why pay? Intel offer the driver for free, only I'm too thick to work it out. Thanks for any help you can give.
