Unhappy can't understand the problem with airmon-ng

whenever i type airmon-ng command in backtrack 5
it shows no network.

on the other hand if i directly type
airmon-ng start wlan0 first time it asked me to kill pid 1491..

next time i again gave same command it showed me no available network.
i am using backtrack 5 on virtual box with win7

I can't say either. Sure it something going on. Maybe you should try Fedora and use it instead.
