Question Access point install-Dlink DWL-2100AP

Hi I'm running suse 11.2. I have a dlink access point that I can supposedly plug into the network card and instantly get access to the device. No such luck, Suse has no clue that it is there. The wired verson works perfectly. I have tried using the devices web addy and no luck.
Can anyone give some insight as to the problem solution?

If i got you right you want to connect with ethernet card to AP to configure it?

1. connect cable to "non-wan" port
2. open browser and type ip of getaway (t may be 192.168.1.1)
3. if you don't have password of ap there is default list online
