unable to auto mount 'shared folder' iin Suse 11.2 virtual machine using Virtual Box

I currently use the command "mount -t vboxsf 'shared folder' 'mount point' " inserted into /etc/init.d/rc.local or /etc/rc.local in Debian based distributions to auto mount the shared folder in the virtual machines but cannot find the proper directory/file to use in Suse 11.2-32. Searches in Google, Suse forums and Virtual Box forums did not help. Maybe bad search parameters.

My 'host' machine is Mint 7.0-32-XFCE and works fine with various Linux distributions and different Windows version.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

best regards,

Is either rc.local present on your system. Maybe you need to write it from beginning. Remember it has to conclude with an "exit".
