Ubuntu 11.04/VirtualBox Webcam Runs at Start Up

Just installed Drupal Quickstart which puts Ubuntu 11.04 in VirtualBox. The creepy thing is that my webcam is on and I can't figure out why. Nothing in the host pc or Ubuntu seems to show it running, but the little blue light is on. The webcam is a Philips SPC1000NC.

Disable usb support in VM and reboot maybe. See what happens.

Seems there is a few backdoors to these webcams and people are getting some personal info from peoples homes.

Tried that and VirtualBox complained that I had another device that needed USB support. Could be the mouse.

I found a lot of folks complaining about the same problem with laptops since the 8.04 version of Ubuntu. I just unplugged the webcam at the USB port for now.

Thanks,
