OpenStack Swift

Just wondering if there is any non-virtualization cloud activity in here and more specifically OpenStack Swift OR do openstackers tend to hang out in other forums?

I'd say that virtualisation is a big part of most cloud conversations so the ratio will usually lean heavily towards it. However if your question is purely regarding OS then maybe the OS forum would be more applicable: https://ask.openstack.org/en/questions/

I'm on OpenStack training right now just for the record but I only hang out here

My only question here is trying to find out if people are using swift and if so how they talk to it. You can use curl or any of a number of language bindings, my preference is python and have even developed a set of benchmarking tools with lots of switches, which I'm sure syg00 would appreciate.

If/when we can identify a community of users, even if only 2 or 3, perhaps then we could start digging into deeper questions/issues around swift.

swift is a cool project, and I also prefer python for API access. don't have anything in production yet, I mostly use RHEV and oVirt these days
