I have 5 RHEL 6.6 systems. I ran packstack on one and it completed successfully. It seems to be running, I can log in to the dashboard. However, both nova host-list and nova-manage host list only return the horizon host and not any of the nova hosts. Anyone have any suggestions on how to diagnose?
Update: I did a previous installation on a few servers in a blade center prior to this one. It is working correctly. Since this one was installed a few weeks later, Red Hat and I are suspicious if newer rpms were used in this installation. The nova process is not starting on each of my designated nova hosts. The log shows a libvirt error (authentication failed: Error checking for authorization org.libvirt.unix.manage: Remote Exception invoking org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Authority.CheckAuthorization). Checking the configuration files between the working openstack and the non-working does not show any differences. Still checking.
