Hello.
I'm running Debian bookworm on my ARM Chromebook,model "xe303c12" and I've recompiled the kernel to enable KVM,so now my system sounds like this :

I have installed libvirt 9.7.0,qemu 5.1 and virt-manager from source code with the final goal to be able to connect qemu,kvm and libvirt together to virtualize FreeBSD 13.2 for arm 32 bit. Some useful informations about my platform :

You said you're trying this on a Chromebook, yes? If so, there's the problem. Chromebooks aren't designed for doing virtualization. They're designed to be lightweight, portable machines that run workloads that are mostly either cloud based or otherwise run browser based workloads (hence why they have very little storage). If I'm correct (if I'm not someone please correct me), the ChromeOS image is built where virtualization isn't possible on them. Or it appears also the vendors may lock down the hardware to prevent KVM as well. The bigger problem here though is: even if you were to somehow get this to work, it wouldn't work well given your system's specs. It has (from what I could find on DuckDuckGo) 2GB of RAM & 16GB of storage. You're not going to get very far at all with those specs. Even if you used external storage, that small RAM amount will hold you back. If you want to do virtualization, you'll need a full on x86 based PC like the Dell Latitude or Lenovo Thinkpad (if you want to stay in the notebook realm like the Chromebook), or a full size PC with enough horsepower memory & CPU wise to handle the loads.
