Emulate a PCI device

Hi,

I have an AMD Machine, with CentOS Stream 9. I want to create a dummy PCI device and it should be listed under lspci. Could someone point out the necessary things to be done, to achieve this and help me out with this? And, I want the PCI device, on the host, not on the VM. QEMU emulates a PCI device, but the device is given the VM. I don't want this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Sai Kiran.

Here's a github project that should get you started. You can change the read/write functions from shared memory to what suits your needs.
