add another guest


IBM x 3850 X5 server

RHEL 6 64 bit Host

Rhel 4.8 Guest

both OS running smoothly,

i configured

ifcfg-eth0,
ifcfg-eth1 and
ifcfg-br0 files
in host OS

can i add another guest OS OEL 5.1 as guest, but i have only two NIC.

If possible please guide me guys.

No worries; I've got 4 VMs on my home system & that only has 1 connected (physical) NIC
(I'm using RH's KVM SW)

Well, basically just repeat what you did for the first one.
You should have (in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts) a pair of files ifcfg-br0 & ifcfg-eth0 that work as one.
Just repeat for ifcfg-br1 & eth1 if you want the 2nd VM to use a different physical NIC.
Note, I haven't tried this (only have one NIC), but it seems logical to me.
Alternately, wait for someone else to come along who has done this or ask google.
