Active volume groups and Xen guests

We have a new 7 node Xen cluster. Xen guests are using LVM based disks. Each physical DOM0 can see all the volumes the Xen guests use.

Should each DOM0 have all VGs set to active in order for migration to work or does Xen take care of this during migration ?
