I would be interested in meeting. I just emailed the SATLUG board of directors yesterday and I'm waiting to hear back if anyone would be interested in starting SATLUG back up.

I know other Linux users in San Antonio that I can let know about any meetings. Weekends are best but anything after 5PM during the week I should be able to go to.

I used to live in San Antonio (moved away unfortunately) but went to a Linux Meetup in the summer of 2014 at Rackspace.

I had my hopes high for this but barely anyone turned up. Person presented results of running some sort of Linux ec2 as a honeypot and noting the behavior.

I never went back but did read online that most of the local LUGs have faded away, seems like most it the LUG culture has moved online.
